Today I am going to show how to make pen drive bootable. Some time we need to set up windows from pen drive. It can be happened for damaged cd rom. On the other hand Net book computer has no cd rom that’s why a boot able pen drive is needed for set up windows.
Most  of the people make pen drive bootable using third party application. But simply using command prompt  we can make pen drive boot able. But your pen drive must be more than 4 GB.
Lets start this process.

From the start menu or search CMD  you will find command prompt.  You can find it manually by these location   C:\ Windows \ System32 \ cmd.exe
Then right click on mouse and click run as administrator.
Command prompt will run.
Then just type DISKPART and press Enter.
After that type LIST DISK  and you can see all of disk list with details, size, free size etc.
Then type SELECT DISK 1 and press Enter. Type 1/ 2/ 3 instead of 1 by your Disk. Your desired disk will be selected.

Then type CLEAN and press Enter. You can see a message Disk part succeeded in cleaning the disk.
Again type CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY and press Enter.
After that type SELECT PARTITION 1 and press Enter.
After that type FORMAT=FS NTFS QUICK and press Enter. Selected disk will started  formatting and all data of your pen drive will be deleted.
Then type ACTIVE  and press enter.
Yapp  almost done and your pen drive is ready to boot.
Now close this command.
Now go to your desired location where your windows set up file keep. Simply copy this file and paste it to pen drive.
After copying restart your pc and make usb removable disk  as first boot  device from boot menu. Hope windows set up will be started.
That’s it. Hope you can successfully make your pen drive bootable. No more today.  Take care and stay with us.
